Lot 36

Description: Branch Rickey twice-signed 1951 letter with related paperwork (PSA 8 NM/MT auto grades). 3/8/1951 typed letter on Pittsburgh Pirates stationery to owner Thomas Johnson. Rickey signed the letter in blue ink and added some additional remarks to Johnson and again signed "Branch" at the end. Includes full LOA frm JSA, and the letter is authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA grading the autographs 8 out of 10 (NM/MT). The letter references Rickey's reports of the players on the team, and those 8-pages of player reports are included with the letter (many very amusing comments): EX-EX/MT ($500-$750)
