Description:Massive pallet lot with thousands of 1940s-2000s newspapers, mostly Washington Redskins headlines (PR-NM). Incredible newspaper repository occupies two large pallets filled with boxes of complete and partial newspapers, sports sections, individual pages, commemorative special sections and more, ranging primarily from the 1940s through the 2000s (with possibly some older). The vast majority feature Washington Redskins headlines and sections, including front pages, key games, Super Bowl victories, special editions, periodicals and more. Lot remains largely unsearched, though it appears there are also some non-Redskins issues, including historical pages, front pages with presidential headlines, WWII news, and music/entertainment, along with some misc. memorabilia mixed in. The vast majority of papers appear well-preserved and are housed in smaller boxes for protection. Lot remains largely unsearched, though major publications, such as the New York Times, Washington Post and Rolling Stone were spotted throughout. With at least 5,000 individual newspapers and individual pages included within the pallets, there are many desirable issues, rare pages and issues with Redskins nostalgia still waiting to be found. Due to the massive size and extreme weight of the lot, local pickup at Hunt facilities in Exton, Pa. is strongly recommended to avoid what likely will be a very high shipping cost. Range: PR-NM.
