Description: 1988 Yogi Berra Houston Astros professional model jersey (See description) NOTE - The Astros did not regularly wear button up jerseys until 1989, it is unclear why this example is tagged 1988 but it is of the highest quality and was almost certainly made for or by the team. Classic 1980s era knit jersey with trademark rainbow striping across the top having "Astros" team name and star emblem in navy blue tackle twill. "Berra" nameplate affixed to the back above the Hall of Fame New York Yankee catcher's legendary uniform number "8". Proper Rawlings manufacturer's label with size 44 indicator affixed to tail front above "88 44 1" strip tag and "Set 1 1988" flag tag.
