Description: 1912 Boston Red Sox stock certificate signed by Jimmy McAleer, World Series win year (VG/EX). Very nice original stock certificate No. 5 for 41 shares of the Boston American League Base-Ball Club, as issued to future owner Joseph Lannin and dated March 6, 1912. It has been signed by both Treasurer Bob McRoy and owner Jimmy McAleer in the lower right, with Lannin signing on the reverse. The 1912 Red Sox were loaded with talent including Tris Speaker, Eddie Cicotte and Joe Wood, and went on to win the World Series that year. Certificate retains excellent overall eye appeal with scattered age-related wear, including small chip in the upper right corner: VG/EX. ($750-$1,500)
