Description: Willard Mullin original artwork c.1945 - World War II related (EX) Framed (20"x25") artwork showing an umpire with two fingers extended towering over what appears to be a uniformed soldier holding a baseball bat. A small metal placard mounted in the frame reads "Strike Two…August 10, 1945." This is the day after the United States dropped the second Atomic Bomb and the work appears to be a reference to that event. Signed "Willard Mullin" at lower right and inscribed below.
