Description: 1928 W565 strip card uncut sheet panel with (3) Hofer's, including Lou Gehrig (Sheet: GD; Hofer's: NM). Scarce 7"x11" uncut sheet features (25) strip cards with three baseball Hall of Famers in the bottom row: Lou Gehrig, Tony Lazzeri and Al Simmons. The balance of the sheet features playing cards of actors and two boxers. Gehrig and the other two baseball cards are free of defects on the front and back, and potentially could be cut free of the sheet with a (NM) or better appearance. Sheet has a tiny crease on the lower left border and some staining primarily in the upper borders, affecting a few cards. Blank, dark blue back also exhibits the staining near the borders but is otherwise clean. Outstanding appearance despite the sheet's technical grade: GD. Gehrig, Simmons and Lazzeri: NM.
