Description: 1977-78 Topps Basketball lot with complete set (with 75 autographed), partial set, and extras (Avg. EX-EX/MT with some better) Large lot of 1977 Topps Basketball cards contains (1) complete set, (2) near complete set, and extras. Due to the method of storage/organization it is not possible for us to provide an exact breakdown. With regard to key cards, the following quantities are included: #a Jabbar (3, one lower grade), 20 Maravich (2), 56 Dantley (2, one autographed), 60 Thompson (2, one autographed), 70 Havlicek (4), 73 Gervin (1), 100 Erving (3), 111 Parrish (2, one autographed), 120 Walton (2, one autographed), and 132 Dawkins (2). Autographed cards from the complete set (75 total) include the (3) mentioned above in keys along with Henry Bibby, Lloyd Free, Jamaal Wilkes, Elvin Hayes, Dan Issel, Don Ford, Sidney Wicks, Spencer Haywood, Dave Cowens, Swen Nater, Don Buse, Calvin Murphy, Artis Gilmore, Moses Malone, and Rick Barry. Signatures generally rate 7/8 out of 10 or better with a few lesser. Cards are in average EX-EX/MT condition throughout with some better and only a small portion falling to VG. Autographed cards were obtained in person so a few may appear to be sloppy or rushed versions and we would suspect that there are a handful which would not pass third party authentication for that reason: Avg.
