Description: 1978 Topps Baseball complete set with (450+) autographed (incl. 16 Hall of Famers) plus partial set and handful of extras (Avg. EX/MT) Large lot of 1978 Topps Baseball cards includes a complete set, second partial set, and a handful of extra cards. The complete set includes over (450) which have been autographed. Please note - these appear to be a mix of in person and through the mail signatures and while they have been screened with obvious issues removed there are certainly some secretarial and/or otherwise non-authentic examples which remain mixed in. Due to the method of storage/organization we will not be able to provide a list of cards missing from the partial set however if more than (1) of any of the key cards are included in the lot they will be noted. Keys: #6 Ryan (2, both EX/MT-NM slightly OC, one is autographed), 20 Rose (EX/MT OC), 36 Murray (EX-EX/MT slightly OC), 40 Yastrzemski (2, both EX/MT), 60 Munson (EX/MT-NM), 72 Dawson (2, EX/MT-NM and the other VG and autographed), 100 Brett (2, EX and EX/MT-NM), 200 Jackson (EX/MT), 360 Schmidt (2, VG and EX/MT), 400 Ryan (EX), 580 Carew (EX/MT), 700 Bench (EX/MT), 703 Morris RC (3, one unsigned EX/MT, one signed by all 4, and one signed by 3 others and not Morris - note the Tim Jones signatures are secreterial), 704 Whitaker RC (2, one unsigned NM OC, and one signed by all 4), 707 Molitor/Trammell RC (EX/MT OC), and 708 Murphy RC (2, one unsigned EX/MT OC, one signed by all 4). In addition to the handful of autographed key cards noted above, the signed cards in the lot include Brooks Robinson, Roy White, Willie McCovey, Mark Fidrych, Ed Kranepool, Jim Lonborg, Don Zimmer, Goose Gossage, Ken Griffey, Bob Montgomery, Bobby Cox, Paul Blair, Dennis Eckersley, Bert Blyleven, Ron Guidry, Keith Hernandez, Jesse Jefferson, Lou Brock, Robin Yount, Dave Concepcion, Tom Lasorda, Nino Espinosa, Earl Weaver, Darrell Evans, Tim McCarver, Whitey Herzog, Joe Niekro, Fred Lynn, Jack Clark, Al Dark, Chris Chambliss, Chuck Tanner, Donnie Moore, Bob Lemon, Don Kessinger, Vida Blue, Ralph Houk, Gaylord Perry, Jim Kaat, Fergie Jenkins, and Billy Martin. Varying degrees/types of wear throughout with EX/MT average condition and VG to EX/MT-NM general range. Signatures mostly rate 7 out of 10 or better with some lesser: Avg.
