Description: Excellent "Gashouse Gang" souvenir menu with Medwick, Dean and Durocher, c. 1950s (EX). Hard-to-find original "Gashouse Luncheon" menu features portrait illustrations of Medwick, Frisch, Dean, Durocher and other members of the iconic 1934 Cardinals team on the perimeter, along with a center caption that reflects on a spirit that "first infected a team, then a city, and then a nation." Prices of delicious delicacies of the day include .40 cents for a glass of beer and $1.50 for a Glazed Brisket of Corned Beef Sandwich. Menu has been framed to 14"x10 1/2". While complete condition is unknown due to framing, piece appears EX overall with a fold line in the middle.Final Bid: $81.00
