Description: c.1888 "Ball Club at Willow Dale" glass plate negative possibly showing Hugh Duffy at the dawn of his career (EX). Original 5"x7" glass plate negative showing a baseball team with an envelope which identifies it as the 1888 Willow Dale Baseball team. One player closely resembles Hugh Duffy (6th from the left). Duffy was a member of this team, and was scouted by Cap Anson while playing for them.
