Description: 1954-2012 Sports Illustrated complete run in (234) bound volumes - first issue signed by Eddie Mathews (Overall EX) Substantial collection represents every issue of Sports Illustrated issued from 1954 through the end of 2012. All have been hardbound with gilt/gold lettered bound edge which tells the year and range of months contained. Each year is split into 4 volumes with 1954 held in two as the first issue had an August cover date. The first issue has been signed on the cover "Eddie Mathews" in marker rating 9/10 out of 10. Both the first and second issues have the baseball card insert pages intact. Individual issues have varying degrees/types of wear and, if not bound, would generally range in condition from VG to NM falling around average EX-EX/MT (improving in the later years).
