Description: 1986 New York Mets Championship Season Original Lineup Card with related photo (EX-NM) An official lineup card from the 1986 World Championship New York Mets for the July 7, 1986 game versus the Cincinnati Reds, signed by manager Davey Johnson in blue ink. The 5 x 7 card has been completed by hand with the entire Mets lineup as well as a list of "Also Eligible" players. The card features star first baseman Keith Hernandez, slugger Darryl Strawberry, fan- favorite catcher Gary Carter, and centerfielder Lenny Dykstra leading off the pack. The -Miracle+ Mets capped their 1986 season with an exciting finish in winning their second World Championship highlighted by their Game 6 comeback when Mookie Wilson+s grounder went through the legs of Boston+s first baseman Bill Buckner and again defeating the Boston Red Sox in the final seventh game of the World Series. The lineup card is accompanied by an original 10 X 8 black and white wire photograph (stamped on the back) of New York Mets outfielder Darryl Strawberry waving to the fans during the 1986 World Series Ticker Tape Parade in New York City.
