Description: Ralph Kiner jersey number retirement related presentational album incl. numerous signed letters/statements (EX-NM) Album compiled by a Pittsburgh Pirates employee was presented to Ralph Kiner on the occasion of his jersey number being retired by the team. It is largely comprised on letters (some typed, others handwritten) which were written to Kiner or about him and relay memories and well wishes. Notables Include Ronald Reagan autopen signed letter on White House stationary; telegram from Reagan; Stan Musial signed letter on "Musial & Biggie's stationary; Red Schoendienst signed letter on Cardinals stationary; Bob Feller handwritten letter; Robin Roberts handwritten letter; Monte Irvin handwritten letter; Johnny Mize first name signed letter; Pee Wee Reese handwritten note; additional letters (some typed, others handwritten) signed by Dino Restelli, Rip Sewell, George Strickland, John Klippstein, Whitey Lockman, Harry Walker, Dale Long, Hank Sauer, Johnny Vander Meer, Al Gionfriddo, Vern Law, Cal Abrams, Gene Mauch, Augie Donatelli, Ralph Branca, Chub Fenney, Bob Murphy, Tim McCarver, Peter Ueberroth, and others.
