Description: Lot of (3) Ty Cobb photos incl. second generation Conlon "sliding" image (GD-EX) Includes 5"x7" black and white print of Conlon's famed image of Cobb sliding which has photographers mask applied in a few places and some paper loss within the side borders. Mounted to heavy stock backing which has a number of markings/notations including Culver stamps. Purchased from HYee Auctions at which time it was identified by Henry Yee as a second generation c.1940s print; additional 8"x10" print of the same sliding photo which also has Culver and other markings on back. This photo likely dates to a later period (c.1960s-70s); 4.5"x8" sepia toned photo of Cobb which has 1927 date stamp (among other markings) on back. This was trimmed from a larger image and has some light wear and photographers mask has been removed. Varying degrees of wear throughout: GD-EXFinal Bid: $193.00
