Description: Choice collection of baseball related snapshots (and other pieces) covering the 1967-1975 World Series and other games/events (housed in 3 scrapbooks) (GD-EX/MT) Trio of vintage photo album scrapbooks are filled with snapshot photographs of players and stadiums, numerous stadium postcards, other type items, and a handful of autographs (incl. Casey Stengel, Tug McGraw, Jimmie Dykes, Clay Dalrymple, Greg Luzinski, and Tom Hutton). They were assembled by a dedicated fan whom attended hundreds of games and would arrive early to get close to the field in order to photograph players, the stadium, and other aspects. In addition, there are images of stadium exteriors and some others which are related to the games. Notable players and/or events covered include the 1967 World Series, 1968 World Series, 1969 World Series, 1971 World Series, 1972 World Series, 1973 World Series, 1974 World Series, 1975 World Series, the 1971 Dedication of Veteran's Stadium, Casey Stengel, Stan Musial, Pee Wee Reese, Roger Maris, Curt Flood, Lou Brock, Bob Gibson, Roberto Clemente, a visit to the Astrodome in 1966, Carl Yastrzemski, Pete Rose, Carlton Fisk, Vin Scully, Steve Garvey, Catfish Hunter, Walt Alston, Reggie Jackson, shots from a 1975 Phillies game, Mike Schmidt, 1977 NL Playoffs (with ticket stub and full ticket), Steve Carlton, Johnny Bench, 1975 reunion of the 1950 Phillies, and others. The majority of the images can be removed with little or no risk of damage while some pieces are more securely held in place with tape or adhesive.
