Description:World Series and All-Star Game "Ticket Cape" as worn by noted fan Jessie Foyle with related material (Overall EX) White knit pancho style sweater as assembled and worn by Jessie Foyle whom was well documented to have attended every World Series dating back to 1964 and a good number of All-Star Games. Foyle would laminate her ticket stubs and carefully sew them to the sweater which became a familiar sight and she often appeared, while wearing it, on television and in newspaper articles. There were several different sweaters created over the years as some past examples became to fragile to continue wearing. The tickets would be removed and later reattached to the replacement and this one features tickets dating as far back as 1967. In total, there are approximately (115) World Series, All-Star Game, and some other event ticket stubs carefully sewn on throughout. Also Included are (51) additional World Series, (2) All-Star Game, a 1976 NLCS, and 1971 Opening Game at Vet ticket stubs which were at one time attached to previous versions of the cape. The stubs themselves are nearly all laminated and each has holes punched in along with varying degrees of additional wear throughout; a printed collage of images showing Foyle as she appears on the Rosie O'Donnell show along with a Rodie O'Donnell single signed baseball and note card which Rosie sent to her regarding the appearance; a file folder of newspaper and publication articles which were written over a period of many years about Foyle and her cape; several images of her in several different incarnations of the cape; and several framed displays which include images and newspaper/publication articles regarding Foyle and/or the cape: Overall EX ($1,000-$3,000)
