Description: Rare 1956 Brooklyn Dodgers Goodwill Tour of Japan presentational photo album (EX-EX/MT) Large 11"x14" album bound heavy fabric lined boards with the front cover reading "Brooklyn Dodgers Goodwill Tour Of Japan 1956, Yomiuri Shimbunm Tokyo, Japan." Mounted within are a total of (29) sepia toned photographs (each approx. 7"x9") showing a variety of Tour related scenes incl. Dodgers arrival in Japan and subsequent events, on field events, views of the Stadium, group shots of the Dodgers and opposing teams, sightseeing trips, etc. Many notable players can be seen throughout incl. Jackie Robinson (prominent in a good number of images), Roy Campanella, Gil Hodges, Don Drysdale, Duke Snider, and Don Newcombe. Two images are missing and one has come loose from it's page.
