Description: Lot of (56) late 1930s Bert Bell signed Philadelphia Eagles payroll checks (JSA) (Sigs. EX/MT-NM) Sizable grouping of checks, drawn on the Philadelphia Ealges accounts, and signed at lower right by Bert Bell. Each is done in fountain pen rating 8 to 8/9 out of 10 with perhaps a few lesser. Several are filled out in his hand, others by another person, and a portion are typed. All have light general handling wear with typical bank cancellations. Each has JSA Authentication sticker affixed to the back (COAs/Letters are not included): Sigs.
