Description: 1928 W565 complete set of (50) strip cards on (2) uncut sheets with Lou Gehrig (Sheets GD-VG). Pair of approx. 7"x11" uncut sheets each containing (25) different strip cards. Baseball subjects include Lou Gehrig, Al Simmons, Tony Lazzeri, and Harry Heilman. Both sheets exhibit some moisture staining around the edges, and light corner wear. The black and white sheet has staining at edges with more pronounced effect at bottom (lowest row of cards effected). The other has some damage effecting the bottom row, mostly notably the Ace Hudkins card and to slightly lesser degree, Lazzeri. The Gehrig has been spared and could be removed with no damage showing: GD-VG ($300-$500)Final Bid: $425.00
