Lot 65

Description: Astounding multi-pallet lot of sports cards (plus non-sports cards, pins, memorabilia) with a remarkable selection of stars and phenomenal breakdown value (PR-MT, many very high grade, see description) Card years range from the late 1800s and early 1900s (mainly non-sports cards) through the 2010s. Includes a great selection of baseball, basketball, football, hockey, boxing, wrestling, auto racing, other sports, and non-sports. The highest percentage is baseball, but there are also very high quantities of the others listed. Many of the modern cards are from premium brands (not the typical pallet full of 1980s-90s commons). It is difficult to begin to estimate the total number of cards, but the lot is made up of three large pallets. The majority arrived largely unsorted with cards from many different sets, sports, and years in multiple boxes, which is why it has been decided to make it all one magnificent lot loaded with thousands of solid $1 cards and hundreds of $5-$10 cards. Includes countless graded cards, serial #ed inserts, parallel cards, refractors, subsets, etc. (many stars, HOFers, rookies). This lot does have the standard commons usually in most pallet lots, but it should be restated that those are the minority in this lot. Also includes numerous wax pack wrappers, a vast selection of sports pins, unused/unsigned baseballs, and many other forms of memorabilia. When taking into account the vast breakdown value, this is likely one of the best bulk lots we have offered. Also, please note that the colossal size and weight of the lot will cause very high shipping charges. Wide range of conditions throughout the lot, with many high grade examples from the 1970s-modern. Some pre-1970s are also in very nice condition, but overall they are lower grade than the modern cards. For any SNL fans reading this, Will Ferrell (as James Lipton) would call this lot scrumtrulescent. ($3,000-$5,000)
