Description: 1911 M116 Sporting Life Honus Wagner (pastel background) with original envelope (Card SGC 40 VG) Desirable card with a bright well colored portrait showing just a touch of corner wear. A light half moon shaped wrinkle is at lower left and upon close examination it appears that a very small pencil mark may have been erased from the back at very top. Included is the original envelope in which the Wagner card, along with others from the series (including Cobb and Mathewson) would have been issued. The envelope has heavy wear with some loss and other chipping however the printed text is largely intact: Card SGC 40 VG ($1,500-$2,500)Final Bid: $2,199.00
