Description: 1985 Cal Ripken Jr professional model baseball bat - rare early Rawlings "CR-8" (EX, see description) Rawlings Adirondack Pro Ring baseball bat measures 35" long and weighs 31.9oz. "Cal Ripken Professional Model" is black lettered into the barrel and model number "CR-8" has been factory stamped in the knob. Also noted are production batch and year "5" codes. The knob has been covered in black marker suggesting that another marking may have been covered over. Strong usage wear takes the form of heavy ball and contact marks to the upper hitting surface and the cracked handle is taped for grip. Light pine tar.
