Description: Mickey Mantle twice signed c.1960s "Backyard Baseball" set (Sigs. NM, piece VG) Heavy stock backing card has lower portion affixed which has a printed image of Mickey Mantle and his endorsement for the "Backyard Baseball" product which the packaging holds. He has signed this lower area in marker rating 8 out of 10. The original red painted stick with attached rope and rubber "baseball" is held in place on the backer as originally intended (the original pieces which secured the stick in place have been replaced by rubber bands). The rubber baseball has likewise been signed by Mantle in marker rating 7/8-8 out of 10. Wear evident throughout with some creasing, a tear which has tape applied to fix, and other minor to mild scattered imperfections.
