Description: November 30, 1986 Mike Tyson signed boxing glove - rare early example signed (8) days after becoming youngest Heavyweight Champion in history (full JSA LOA) (Sig. EX/MT, Glove EX) Tuf-Wear brand left handed boxing glove has been signed, "from Mike Tyson, Love Always, 9/30/86." Blue marker signature rates 7-7/8 out of 10. Glove is well used with areas of discoloration and some minor surface loss. The interior near finger area has had a section of leather removed and the are a pair of holes on inside of the wrist near top lace hole. It is unclear whom used the glove however Tyson is known to have used the brand while training and can be seen on the cover of the Jan. 6, 1986 issue of Sports Illustrated in a pair of red Tuf-Wear gloves. Signed by Tyson just days after he earned the title of youngest Heavyweight Boxing Champion in history. Includes full LOA from JSA: Sig. EX/MT, Glove EX ($300-$500)Final Bid: $331.00
