Description: Large baseball library spanning Mathewson's "Pitching in a Pinch" (c.1912) to present (mostly 1940s-70s) with (300)+ books (Overall range GD-EX/MT) Large grouping of mostly hardcover books to include biographies, team/player histories, general baseball topics, and others. Majority date to the 1950s, 60s, and 70s, with a number published before and a portion thereafter. This is a lifelong accumulation which appears to have been built with many visits to used book stores and library sales so a good number will have prices written in/on, former owner names or other info written in/on, and other associated wear. A portion have been purchased new and have lighter typical handling/shelf wear. Good number retain original dustjackets (varying degrees of wear) and a portion do not. Most notable is a copy of Christy Mathewson's Pitching in a Pinch and there are likely some semi-obscure biographies of other Hall of Fame players: Overall range GD-EX/MT ($400-$600)Final Bid: $248.00
