Description: 1940s-50s Sport Magazine and Sports Illustrated collection incl. near complete runs from first issue of both (through 1957 for Sport Mag and 1959 for Sports Ill.) (General range GD-EX/MT) Sport Magazine run of all issues printed September 1946 through December 1957 is missing only January 1952 for completion; Sports Illustrated run goes from 1954 through 1959 and is presumed to be near complete (total of approx. 135 in run). In general condition will range from GD to EX/MT with a few better and possibly a few worse (Sport Magazines lower grade overall). Varying degrees of wear throughout including chipping to spines, corner/edge wear, mostly limited cover wear, mostly small/light creases, a very few possibly having ink marks, etc. Note: we have not inspected interiors but can state that Sports Ill. #2 is missing card insert and has some pages clipped/removed). Sports Ill. #1 in GD condition. All Sports Illustrated magazines have mailing labels.
