Description: 1953 Bowman color near complete set of (160) cards with some cards having very strong appearance (see description) Complete set of this popular issue consigned by a long time collector including a good number of cards with a very strong appearance. Several very sharp looking cards were submitted for grading to SGC and came back in "A" holders due to suspicion of trimming. That said, with the exception of a few cards that are numerically graded in SGC holders, please bear in mind that grades stated below are based on appearance and a portion may be/likely are trimmed (a number have without doubt have appearance enhanced with trimming, we do not feel that this is the case for the entire set but that can not be guaranteed - in person viewing is suggested). SGC graded keys: #59 Mantle (SGC 50 VG/EX), 117 Snider (SGC 50 VG/EX), 121 Berra (SGC 60 EX), and 153 Ford (SGC 50 VG/EX). Cards which were submitted to SGC due to very strong condition appearance (generally EX/MT to NM features) which are now in "A" holders include #s 33 Reese, 43, 44 Bauer/Berra/Mantle, 46 Campanella, 55 Durocher, 56, 76, and 84.
