Description: June 13, 1948 Babe Ruth final appearance at Yankee Stadium - Yankees vs. Indians game scorecard (EX-EX/MT) Original scorecard, neatly scored in pencil for game played on June 13, 1948 which marked the final appearance of Babe Ruth at Yankee Stadium. During pre-game ceremonies marking the 25th Anniversary of the House that Ruth Built his appearance caused the crowd to erupt. Ruth made a short speech and his famed number "3" was retired. Nat Fein snapped a timeless photograph of Ruth which won a Pulitzer Prize and remains one of most recognizable sports images ever recorded.
