Description: Lot of (2) Christy Mathewson photographs c.1910-15 (PSA/DNA "Type I"). Pair of photographs including an 3"x5" image showing Mathewson with Christy Jr. and his parents (Gilbert and Minerva) outside of the Factoryville home. A handwritten identifier on the back notes year as "1912." Portion missing at lower right corner; very slightly larger image showing Mathewson while on a trip to Mexico with handwritten identifier on the back noting that he was hunting quail "between revolutions." Mild scattered wear and both have been authenticated and encapsulated by PSA/DNA with "Type I" designation. Includes Mathewson Collection certificate of provenance: GD and VG/EXEstimated Price Range: ($500-$750)
