Description: 1965 Red Schoendienst autographed St. Louis Cardinals contract. Uniform Player's contract as executed between Schoendienst and the Cardinals for his services as Manager during the 1965 season. Signed "Albert F. Schoendienst" inside below the signature of Cardinals G.M. Bob Howsam. Ink signatures rate 8 to 8/9 out of 10. Typical fold lines and some additional wear including a few edge tears. Schoendienst had retired from his Hall of Fame career which stretched from 1944 to 1963 and was embarking on his days as a Manager which would see him lead the Cardinals from 1965 through 1976 (with additional short stints in 1980 and 1990). Over the decades he spent in St. Louis as player, Manager, and Coach he helped lead the team to (4) World Series titles. Includes auction LOA from JSA: Sigs.
