Description: 1953 Stan Musial autographed St. Louis Cardinals contract. Uniform Player's contract as executed between Musial and the Cardinals for his services during the 1953 season. Signed by Musial ("Stanley F. Musial"), N.L. President Warren Giles, and Cardinals owner Fred Saigh. Ink signatures rate 8 to 8/9 out of 10 (minute flaw to Musial). With a decade of time in the Major Leagues under his belt, Musial was then well established as one of the games' premier players by 1953. It would mark his 12th consecutive season hitting over .300 and he would continue that impressive streak through 1958. Typical fold lines and a hint of other light wear and there is a small slip of paper affixed inside which served as an addendum. Some team applied notations are written on the upper back corner.
