Description: Rookie-era Fred McGriff professional model baseball bat c.1986. Louisville Slugger 125 model C271 bat with McGriff facsimile signature in the barrel measures 34" long and weighs 30.1oz. Player number "19" is written on the knob in vintage marker. Outstanding use with ball/contact and stitch marks covering the hitting surface along with a number of rack streaks. There is a large handle crack and an approx. .5"x5" section of the handle is missing. PSA has noted that the bat dates to 1986 specifically which would place it among the earliest McGriff game bats we have seen or offered.
