Description: Very fine 1987 Andre Dawson Chicago Cubs road jersey (NL MVP Season)(SGC/Grob: Superior). Royal blue knit pullover style jersey as donned by "The Hawk" during his tenure with the Cubs having ts original embroidered team patch on front with "Dawson" and "8" in red/white tackle twill on back. Rawlings manufacturer's label inside the collar area with supplemental "8 87 1 44T" chain stitched strip tag. Cubs insignia patch on left sleeve. Fine evident use and wash wear visible throughout including pronounced 'puckering' to the back numerals/lettering.. Dawson finished the 1987 season with a career high of 49 home runs and 137 RBIs to which he was recognized as the recipient of the National League MVP award.
