Description: Detroit Red Wings professional model jersey c.1957-58. Red and white long sleeve wool sweater has the Red Wings logo patch applied to front chest. Number "15" on the sleeves and back is done in style of font that is believed to have only been used by the team during the 1957-58 season. Three players (Billy Dea, Don Poile, and Dennis Olson) wore this number during that time. An alternate captain's "A" patch is on the left front chest and was presumably added at a later date when the jersey was recycled/re-used by the team. A partial "Lippman's" tag in the collar is affixed on only one side. Use and wear are evident throughout and include a few team repairs. Mild pilling to material. A rarely offered game jersey.
