Description: High grade c.1915 Spalding inflatable chest protector. Early model of Spalding's inflatable chest protector remains in outstanding overall condition with just a touch of light age and storage related wear/discoloration and little evident use. "Spalding" label is done on a red swatch with vibrant background color and the logo/text is unusually well defined. As this label was applied over a seam connecting a strap to the chest protector it has split in half, likely the result of being stored folded over for many years.
