Description: Michael Jordan autographed November 28, 1983 Sports Illustrated - The first of (50) S.I. cover appearances (Beckett "8" auto grade). Vintage Sports Illustrated showing Jordan as a member of the North Carolina Tar Heels is the first of a record (50) covers of the seminal magazine on which he appeared. Signed "Michael Jordan" in black marker and authenticated/encapsulated by Beckett with the signature graded "8." Magazine itself shows some light corner and edge wear with a minor chip along one back edge. Includes letter of provenance from Howard Kaplan: Auto graded BAS "8", Magazine EXEstimated Price Range: ($4,000-$6,000)
