Description: Early 1960s Bob Cousy Boston Celtics professional model jersey (William McSweeny, Author of "Go Up For Glory" Provenance) White knit jersey has "Celtics" team name across the front with number "14" below. The number also appears on back. "Horace Partridge" tag on the inside tail notes size (42). Several numbers which are stamped inside are likely wash or team inventory codes. Very fine evidence of use and wash wear visible throughout the shirt while retaining a strong visual presence. Bob Cousy is universally regarded as a transformative player in the history of the NBA as thirteen time All-Star and 1957 Most Valuable Player. Cousy was a member of the Celtics dynasty teams of the 1950-60s era winning six NBA championships.
