Description: 1986 Tommy Heinsohn Basketball Hall of Fame "Certificate of Election." Wooden plaque (13.75"x18") presented to Heinsohn upon his selection for induction into the Basketball Hall of Fame. A portrait image appears at the top and his name, "Thomas W. Heinsohn" is hand lettered in the center. It is noted below that he was selected as "A Player", an important distinction as he would later become one of the select few Hall of Fame members inducted as both a player and coach.
