Description: 1956 Tommy Heinsohn Ararat Shrine All-Star Game trophy with related photograph. Figural trophy (approx. 15" tall) is engraved "Ararat Shrine East-West All Star, K.C. Mo. - 1956 -." The piece displays mild tarnish and some surface wear and the player figure on top has been repaired at both feet. The game was annual event played to benefit the Shriner's Children's Hospital and would showcase the top collegiate talent; sepia toned 8"x10" photo (framed to 11"x12.5") showing team members in uniform. This appears to be the 1956 and there are faint signatures from some of those shown along the lower edge (not strong enough to be largely identified and/or authenticated).
