Description: 1954 Tommy Heinsohn NIT Championship wristwatch and trophy with related pieces. Pair of presentational pieces as awarded to Heinsohn who was a member of Holy Cross and instrumental in their Championship season. Bulova wristwatch has "Madison Square Garden, Winner 1954" engraved on the back. A metal placard mounted on the band reads "1954 National Invitational Tournament Thomas W. Heinsohn." In fine overall condition with a touch of light wear; figural trophy stands approx. 6.5" tall with metal band on the base which reads "N.I.T. Champs 1954" (touch of light wear); original 1953-54 Holy Cross basketball press guide; and (7) photographs of Heinsohn (some also showing others) as a member of the Holy Cross team (vintage prints likely done c.1970s).
