Description: 1996 Charles Barkley autographed Dream Team III USA Olympic Men's Basketball Team uniform (Direct Provenance). Blue mesh jersey with USA screened on insignia on front above white/red tackle twill "4" uniform number. Back has "Barkley" screened on name in red lettering above white/red "4"' in tackle twill. Proper Champion manufacturer's label with size 52 indicator affixed to tail front along with "USA Basketball designed & Tailored Exclusively for 1996 Summer Olympic Games" tag. Wash tag and "3" Extra Length" tag found inside tail front. Barkley has signed the front and the back of the jersey in black sharpie. Matching shorts are included with similar tagging on interior waistband having "4" uniform number written in period black marker. Both jersey and shorts exhibit proper light too moderate use/wash wear most notably to the tagging areas. The Dream Team III went on to capture yet another gold medal for the US once again dominating their international opponents. Barkley was one of five players who had been a part of the original 1992 Dream Team to play for the 1996 squad. Very fine and desirable uniform that was part of a prominent private collection (along with many other jerseys of note within this auction) and was obtained directly from Charles Barkley.
