Description: Ted Williams Boston Red Sox stirrup socks c.1940s-50s. Pair of blue wool stirrup socks with red and white accents are done in Red Sox team colors. One sock has "Williams" chain stitch embroidered along the top. Both are well preserved despite strong use/wear. Among the more seldom offered pieces of uniform equipment with a strong tie to Williams and the only pair we can recall seeing with his name stitched in.
