Description: Rare Dave Bancroft autographed yellow Hall of Fame postcard with related letter. Seldom offered autographed postcard from the widely collection series has been signed on the lower front "Dave Bancroft" in ink. Authenticated and encapsulated by PSA with the signature graded "NM 7." Bancroft was elected to the Hall of Fame 1971 and passed away in October of 1972 leaving a very narrow window of opportunity to have signed these postcards and when he did the signature often appears on the back. An included letter dated March 3, 1972 from the original collector has an additional handwritten note along the bottom reading "The cards were mailed to you, Dave Bancroft." This piece has likewise been encapsulated by PSA with the signature graded "NM-MT 8." Light general handling wear: EX-NMEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$2,500)
