Description: Kiki Cuyler professional model baseball bat c.1924-25 (PSA "GU 8"). Louisville Slugger 125 model bat with Cuyler facsimile signature in the barrel measures 36" long and weighs 35.7oz. Outstanding use/wear is evident throughout with ball/contact marks covering the hitting surface. Grain swelling/separation on both the front and back (due to repeated contact) was secured in the period with nails. The handle retains several vintage rings of tape applied for grip and some stripes of toning suggests that additional rings have falled off. There is a large "H" shaped handle crack. Side writing, applied at the factory when the bat was return for use a template for future orders, appears on the side but is illegible. A rarely offered bat from a members of baseball's Hall of Fame. Includes LOAs from Hunt Auctions and PSA (graded "GU 8"): EXEstimated Price Range: ($3,000-$5,000)
