Description: Spectacular "Christy Walsh All-Stars" uniform c.1929. White flannel jersey is trimmed in red with a large "Christy Walsh All-Stars" patch applied. Also decorating the front are (8) star shaped patches with (7) noting players/notables which were represented by the first Super Agent in modern sports history. Those listed include Babe Ruth, Lou Gehrig, John McGraw, Connie Mack, Pop Warner, Nick Altrock, and A.A. Stagg. On the left sleeve is a baseball shaped patch with Walsh's office address and the right has a player wearing uniform with "1929" across the front. Player number "10" in on the back. Includes the matching pants, sliding pads, and a pair of stirrup socks. None of the pieces have any tagging/marks. Use and some general age/storage related wear throughout. Outstanding ensemble for display and the only of its' type which we have seen: VG-EXEstimated Price Range: ($1,500-$3,000)
