Description: Edd Roush 40K "Kork Grip" model baseball bat c. 1921-29. Full size 34" long Louisville Slugger model 40K bat weighs 43oz with Roush facsimile signature in the barrel. A portion of the original cork grip remains in place on the handle. Uncracked with nice use including ball/contact marks throughout the hitting surface. There are a few scattered spots of what appear to be paint on the barrel. Kork grip model bats have been documented in some cases to have been used by players during Major League Baseball games and the offered bat certainly has the appearance of being of superior quality than the typical store model bat.
