Description: Babe Herman professional model baseball bat c.1926-29 (MEARS A6.5). Early Spalding model 200 bat measures 34 1/2" long and weighs 33.9 oz. Bat shows heavy use including ball marks, stitching impressions, two pieces of period handle tape grip, and handle crack. "Babe Herman" stamped on barrel end. Period H&B factory side writing is partially visible on back of the barrel along with remnants of the paper shipping label.
