Handwritten letter dated Dec. 11, 1968 sent by Wheat to Hillerich & Bradsby Co. endorsing their brand of bats. Wheat states within the letter that he used Louisville Slugger bats throughout his career noting that they "seemed to add to my confidence" and "have good driving power".
