Description: 1950 Bill Nicholson Philadelphia Phillies professional model home jersey with World Series attribution along with related professional model hat. Striking pinstriped home flannel jersey from the 1950 Whiz Kids World Series appearance having maroon embroidered "Phillies" team name across the front with matching "12" on back. "Nicholson" chain stitched strip tag inside collar with Wilson manufacturer's label and size 46/dry clean supplemental tagging on tail front. The jersey shows light general use appropriate for its issue to be worn in the 1950 World Series as evidenced by other documented specimens with identical tagging and materials. Lot also includes vintage Phillies hat with white embroidered "P" on front and Wilson manufacturer's tag inside having "32" written under the bill.
