Description: June 13, 1948 Babe Ruth Final Appearance at Yankee Stadium photograph attributed to Ruth's personal photo album (PSA Type I). Iconic 8"x10" black and white image picturing Ruth seated at his locker at Yankee Stadium on the occasion where he appeared for the final time. Clarity and contrast are nearly flawless vividly portraying the Babe in his frailty having been ravaged by throat cancer. The photo originated from the Barry Hapler collection and was attributed to having been removed from the photo album personally presented to Ruth after the event.
